FORMER SEMINARIANS DAY
09.12.2025
Parish Priests are requested to announce starting next Sunday that:
December 9, 2025, is Former Seminarians Day. His Grace Archbishop Jude Thaddaeus Ruwa’ichi, OFMCap, of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam, invites all who have ever been in seminary formation to participate in the gathering of that day.
Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Msimbazi Parish Church and will be presided over by His Grace the Archbishop. A meeting and reception will follow at the Cardinal Adams Hall at Msimbazi Center.
To support activities of the day, every former seminarian is invited to contribute at least Tsh 40,000—or more for those able.
Those who are married are also invited to attend with their spouses, and therefore should pay Tsh 80,000 (for two people).
Participation funds should be sent via Voda M-Pesa number 54915132, with the name FORMER SEMINARIANS DAY.
All former seminarians are warmly welcomed—let us come joyfully to celebrate our day, our mission in the Church, and to support His Grace the Archbishop in the responsibility of educating our Major Seminarians (Brothers) of our Diocese.
The deadline for contributions is 3 December.
