We sincerely thank the St. Benedict Small Christian Community for cleaning the church yesterday. A total of 15 members participated. Next week, it will be the turn of the St. Agnes Community, followed by the St. ... Community.
Catechumen classes will officially begin on Tuesday, 23 June 2026. All those who have registered are requested to report to the parish classrooms at 5:00 PM.
We congratulate all zones that have completed their contribution towards the celebration honoring the newly ordained priests. Zones that have not yet completed the required contribution of TZS 100,000 are requested to do so before the end of this week, as preparations are behind schedule.
The Holy Childhood Cross is currently in the St. John Paul II Zone. After completing its visit there, it will conclude its parish tour in the St. Matthew the Evangelist Zone. On 25 June 2026, it will be taken to Utete, where there will be a retreat for the Holy Trinity Children of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam, in which children from our parish will also participate.
WAWATA (Catholic Women’s Association)
The St. Peter Deanery WAWATA will hold a Thanksgiving Mass at Sinza Parish on 21 June 2026. All WAWATA members are requested to register at the parish office to participate.
Additionally, from 26–29 June 2026, there will be the Dar es Salaam Metropolitan WAWATA Pilgrimage.
Participation fees:
- Full participation (including meals and accommodation): TZS 150,000
- Day participants: TZS 50,000
Payments should be made through Mkombozi Bank, Account No. 00121800819001, Account Name: WAWATA Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam.
Deadline for payment: 22 June 2026.
Blood Donation Drive
The National Safe Blood Service, in collaboration with the Tanzania Medical Students Association (TAMSA) – Kairuki, invites all parishioners of goodwill to donate blood to help patients in need of transfusions.
The exercise is scheduled to take place at our parish on Sunday, 21 June 2026.
Everyone is encouraged to participate and help save lives.
Pilgrimage for Elderly and Retired Persons
The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam, Jude Thaddaeus Ruwa’ichi, together with Fr. Benedict Shayo, chaplain for the Elderly and Retired Persons Association at both diocesan and national levels, invite all elderly and retired persons to participate in the diocesan pilgrimage at the Pugu Pilgrimage Center on Saturday, 27 June 2026, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Each pilgrim will contribute TZS 15,000 to cover entrance fees, the “Bible on the Ground” offering, talents, and breakfast.
Payments should be made through Mkombozi Bank, Account No. 00124319600501.
All elderly and retired persons are warmly welcome.
Tumaini Media Support Envelopes
Envelopes for supporting Tumaini Media are now available. Zone leaders are requested to collect them from the parish office for distribution within their communities.
The purpose of these envelopes is to raise funds to support Tumaini Media's evangelization work. Parishioners are encouraged to give generously.

- Third Mass (Confirmation Mass): 10:00 AM
After Mass, the newly confirmed children will meet briefly with the Auxiliary Bishop, Henry Mchamungu, the priests, and the catechists who prepared them before departing with their parents.
There will be no Masses at 11:15 AM or 4:00 PM.
Kigangoni Outstation
There will be only one Mass, beginning at 7:00 AM.
Sunday, 5 July 2026
To allow the newly ordained priests to celebrate their Thanksgiving Masses and enable parishioners to join them afterward in congratulatory parish celebrations, the Mass schedule will be:
- First Mass: 6:00 AM
- Second Mass (English): 8:00 AM
- Third Mass: 10:00 AM
There will be no Masses at 11:15 AM or 4:30 PM.
OWN IT Life Skills and Personal Development Program
The management of Muhimbili National Hospital and the founders of the OWN IT Program invite young people and adults to participate in life skills and personal development training under the theme:
“Own Your Decisions, Build Your Future.”
