St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam, has emerged as the top and overall winner for its outstanding contributions toward the operational and developmental needs of Radio Maria Tanzania for the year 2025.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Parish Priest, Father Barthlomeo Mrosso, and the faithful, the Social Media Manager of Radio Maria Tanzania, Tekla Revocatus, noted that a total of 873 parishes across the country participated in the "Kapu la Mama Maria" (Mother Mary’s Basket) competition.
St. Peter’s Parish secured the first-place position by contributing TSh 40.6 million out of the total TSh 1.555 billion raised by all 873 participating parishes in Tanzania. Additionally, St. Peter’s emerged as the leading parish among the 97 parishes within the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam.
