We sincerely thank the St. Hyacinth Small Christian Community for cleaning the church yesterday. A total of 14 members participated.
Next week, the duty will be undertaken by the St. Agatha Community, followed by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Choir Community.
11th February is the Day of Prayer for the Sick and Health Care Workers. Since this date falls on a weekday, the Mass for this intention will be celebrated on Sunday, 8th February, during the Second Mass.
Zonal and Small Christian Community leaders are requested to register the sick and submit their names to the Parish Office. The sick must be Catholics.
After Mass, the sick and one caregiver per sick person will share tea with the Parish Priest.
This matter is to be handled with urgency, importance, and seriousness.
Parish-level elections for Holy Childhood leaders will now take place on Sunday, 8th February, before the 4:00 PM Mass, in one of the parish classrooms.
The zones of St. Matthew the Evangelist, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Andrew the Apostle are requested to complete their Holy Childhood leadership elections by 01/02, to enable the parish-level elections to proceed.
Holy Childhood caregivers are kindly requested to ensure this is completed.
The National Holy Childhood Festival will be held in Kigoma from 18th – 22nd June 2026.
Participation fee per child: TZS 315,000
Deadline for submission of participants’ list: 24/03/2026
Registration should begin immediately through Small Christian Communities, Zones, or the Parish Office. Parents and all well-wishers are kindly asked to support our children to participate in this festival.
Starting Saturday, 31/01, there will be Holy Rosary prayer services for children at the zonal level. The schedule will be announced accordingly.
To begin with, next Saturday it will be the turn of the St. Paul of the Cross Zone.
Time: 4:30 PM
Zonal leaders are requested to coordinate with the Sister in charge of children to enable her to reach the venue. They should also ensure children gather at the designated zonal location.
Those who have not yet returned the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) contribution envelopes are kindly reminded to do so as soon as possible.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Choir of this parish will launch their video music album on 15/02/2026, starting at 4:00 PM.
